Daybreak

Good Morning Everyone! I know I sound like a broken record, but it's been a while since we blogged and it's mainly because not much has been going on. Last weekend, we had the pleasure of being invited to K's new home for dinner. The house is beautiful and I am so happy to see how happy my big sis is, all settled in her first home.

Her gorgeous and very large kitchen. Perfect for my sister since she has all the room in the world to cook and bake.

The pond in her massive backyard. It was too chilly to sit out this weekend, but I am sure we will all enjoy visiting her in the summer, when it's hot :)

In other news, I did an interview this morning for CBC Radio Daybreak concerning condos for families in downtown Montreal. If you are interested in listening to it you can do so by clicking this link for the Daybreak Montreal Site.

Me with condo developer Louis Conrad Migneault, waiting to be interviewed

Not much else is new this morning and, though I know many of our readers would like an update on Mama H... unfortunately we don't have much of an update. She is doing well and appreciates all the kind words her friends and family have sent and she knows we are all thinking of her. Her girls miss her dearly while away from her and we can't wait to see her and Dad.

We will be back soon with another post... as soon as we find an exciting activity to do :)!
Until then, have a great Wednesday and a great rest of your week.

With Love,

Find the Strength

Good Morning... It's been a while, and we have a lot of news. Our family is going through a lot of changes at the moment; changes that have kept us away from blogging. I won't go into too many details, but we are living our life split between Canada and the US for a while so that my mom can get treated by a doctor who can give her the treatment she needs. It is not an easy time for any of us, but my mom's strength has been nothing short of remarkable and she has been an incredible role model for my sisters and I throughout this entire ordeal. I know she will continue to fight and we will get through this as a family. Though I had to come back after two weeks of being there, they say that home is where the heart is... and my heart is with my mother.

On a positive note, big sister K recently got engaged! And, as I mentioned (maybe more than once as in here, here and in a few other places) I love weddings and played wedding planner for T's wedding.. so I hope K will allow me to have my input in her wedding too. On top of that, she and her fiancĂ© just moved into the cutest house you've ever seen. It is absolutely perfect and has the most gorgeous kitchen, which she will get great use out of I'm sure. So congrats to Miss K and her man D.

The other big announcement that we have is that T and her husband B are expecting their first baby! I have known for a little while, but had to wait for the 3 month check-up to share the news, and I have been absolutely bursting at the seams.

T's 3 month baby bump... that looks like me on a regular day...
I am so excited to be an aunt and, even though they won't be finding out the sex of the baby, I've been spending more time than I'd like to admit browsing baby clothes online.

What baby doesn't need an Armani Cashemere Sweater?

Or a Ralph Lauren Polo Dress

The little outfits absolutely kill me... I cannot wait to shop for this little baby and, with the help of aunt K and other aunt K, it will be the best dressed baby in town. I absolutely cannot wait! T & B will be the best parents, and the positivity that a baby brings to a family is something we all need right now. So I can't wait to meet you baby!

Hey there little guy/gal!
So, it may be a little while until we post again. But, you can be sure that we will try our best. We appreciate all the support our family and friends have provided us over the past few weeks, and we know that we are a strong family and will get through all of this, the good and the bad, together. “What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
