Club Monaco

Good Morning Everyone! After two nights at home, I still woke up this morning a little confused as to where I was. It's funny how that happens; you live somewhere for a year, but then go away for 10 days and it surprises you when you wake up in the not-so-familiar place. I think it should be the other way around... but it never seems to happen to me when I'm staying in hotels. Either way, I am almost back to normal regarding the time change (Italy is 6 hours ahead) and I only woke up an hour before my alarm this morning which is pretty good since I haven't even been home two full days. With that being said, I'll be jetting off again tonight for a girls surprise trip that T has been planning for the past few months. I cannot wait to leave because I can hardly stand the excitement anymore, and I CAN'T wait to see our other sister K, whom we haven't seen since Easter. Since I don't know where we are going, I can't promise a blog post, but I'll do my best.

Speaking of which, I promised more posts from my trip and since I was so bad about doing them while there, I have to follow up on my promise. I am going to share with you the pictures from E and my day trip we took from San Remo, Italy through the South of France to Monaco. Please bear with me as there are quite a few pictures, but believe me, I had to narrow it down... a lot. The view the entire drive was absolutely breathtaking and I kept snapping pictures left and right. I wish I could share them all... but I chose some of my favorites.

A picture taken on top of a hill in Ventimiglia, Italy

Ventimiglia, Italy

Ventimiglia, Italy looking over to France on the far left.

A prehistoric site at Balzi Rossi, Italy

The beach at Balzi Rossi, Italy. This is E's favorite beach

I think you can see why... the water is absolutely stunning.
The view along the way.

Downtown Monaco. Every building is absolutely gorgeous. The architecture and detail on the buildings was absolutely incredible, I wanted to take a picture of all of them.

A park in the city

Baby Dior... because any Baby that hasn't pooped in Dior Couture hasn't lived

A gorgeous church

The famous Monaco Casino. I would have gone in, but I didn't think my Tom's were appropriate  attired :)

Another entrance to the Casino

A shot of the harbour with all the yachts. Mine's the largest one on the left of the screen. You can also see where the Royal Family lives on top of the hill accross the water.

It was so hot, I made E stop for Gelato... though I would have made him stop even if it was cold...

Just a simple mall.. no biggie.

The seaside tennis courts where they play the Rolex Cup

A restaurant with quite the view
Those are all the pictures that I will share of Monaco for today. I plan on doing a post on Cinque Terre, but since I don't know where I will be going on my surprise trip this weekend, I don't know if I will be able to do it until Tuesday. I hope everyone has a great day, and a great long weekend (to our Canadian readers). I am so excited about this weekend, I can hardly wait... I hope this day goes fast!

With Love,
S
