BurgerOff 2012

Well, it's been a while... We have been busy with family, and work, and summer... but we promise to be back in the next little while with some exciting posts.

Each year, my sister and her friends host a "SomethingOff" where teams of two compete for the best dish.  The first year was a SoupOff, last year was a PotatoOff and this year - a BurgerOff.  Kate as in charge of hosting the event this year and so to accomodate the growing crowd, she decided to do it at our cottage.  Twenty something of her friends joined together yesterday for this very serious competition.

Fifth - Lamb, Blue Cheese & Homemade Poppy Seed Buns

Sixth: Boursin Burger

Seventh: Deadliest Catch

It was an amazing event, and Kate did an absolutely amazing job organizing the whole thing. I know she put a lot of time and planning into it, so it really paid off when her Spanikopita Burger WON the big prize. Congrats big sis!
